#15 portal: allow multiple desktop sessions

Currently we only allow user to create and use one desktop session. When user clicks the Launch button in /apps/desktop, if the user hasn't already created a desktop session, the server launches a desktop session and connects to it. We should allow user to use multiple desktop sessions.
